About Darren L. Meade
With his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law (1994), Attorney Meade passed the Ohio Bar Exam in the 99th percentile for Criminal Law and in the 90th percentile for Constitutional Law. Since then, Attorney Meade has grown his knowledge of Criminal Law by being an active voice for those within the community. A 30-year Veteran of Criminal Law, Darren’s career spans Prosecutor, Public Defender and Criminal Defense Attorney.
His energy, tenacity, intelligence, quick-wit and experience give him an edge over most attorneys. He has tried hundreds of jury trials and argued successfully in front of the Ohio Supreme Court. In 2016, Attorney Meade partnered with Attorney Kelly Parks to open Parks and Meade Law Firm in order to help those who have been accused and in need of expert help, care, and understanding in the Central Ohio area, Now he runs The Meade Law Group, a Family Law & Criminal Defense firm. No matter what the circumstance, Attorney Meade has the experience, and passion to help you with your criminal legal matters.

ABOUT DAN Gurtner
Attorney Dan Gurtner is an attorney specializing in all matters related to domestic relations and family law as well as estate and probate law. He has over 14 years experience and has served as a presenter at numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars.
A graduate of The Ohio State University and Capital University Law School, prior to joining Parks and Meade, LLC, Mr. Gurtner practiced as a solo practitioner and in several firms. Mr. Gurtner is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio as well as federally in the Southern District of Ohio.
Mr. Gurtner’s primary focus has always been on his clients. He is committed to maximizing his clients’ satisfaction and ensuring that he always fights for their interests. Mr. Gurtner has always believed the key to success depends on knowing “the whole story”. Every case presents its own unique circumstances, and every case has its own unique solutions.
Mr. Gurtner serves as the membership co-chair for the American Inns of Court, Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer Chapter; an organization dedicated to advancing the rule of law through professionalism, ethics, civility and excellence.
In his free time, Mr. Gurtner enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, reading, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes!

ABOUT Alan Pfueffer

Alan is our Of-Counsel Attorney for Federal Criminal Defense cases. Attorney Alan Pfeuffer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, and he earned his J.D. degree from the Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2000.
Before entering law school, Alan was a sheriff’s deputy in the Florida Keys, and he was a Chief of Police for the police departments in Rangely and Edgewater, Colorado. He has investigated thousands of cases, completed wiretap and seizure affidavits and worked as an undercover narcotics officer. Now, he is a Federal Criminal Defense Lawyer and Lecturer, putting his experience to use for you.
